A summer wedding on the Amalfi Coast, at Villa Silvana in Sorrento.

I met Shelby and Bryce a year before in Manhattan, for their engagement session. A year later, we all traveled to Italy for this destination wedding.

Every part of the day felt thoughtful and deeply considered, from the design to the experience itself. The morning started on the balcony, overlooking the sea and Mount Vesuvius, eating pasta together. Getting ready meant friends, french fries, espresso, music, and that particular mix of excitement and ease that carries a day like this. The ceremony was surrounded by hundreds of white roses and the people they love most. Then came cocktail hour under the palm trees and the saxophone, followed by dinner al fresco with candles, more roses, string lights, and sunset.

The night ended with cake cutting, fountains of sparks, a one last scene that felt almost surreal.
