Spring in Marbella already feels like midsummer. Bright skies, intense heat, and a beating sun that stayed with us from morning into night.

The day began unhurried. Friends by the pool, music playing, Nofal boxing with his friends, and Awa smoking her cigarettes while getting ready.

Nofal saw Awa under the palm trees, surrounded by flowers and cactus, waiting for the moment they would say “I do.” They married on the lawn beneath the tall palms, then shared dinner by the pool with the people they love most.

The night ended with a little time for themselves and champagne.
